The gallery of 2023 is the first in a series of photo manipulations, created by the talented digital artist, Cat Gray. Her inspiration? WOMAN - not the polite and accommodating symbol of desire we were taught to be. But instead, the audacious and flawed.
We are sentient agglomerations of organic matter; we are stardust; we are stories of endeavour and deficiency. And yet, we captivate; we ascend; we provoke and we dare.
The first collection of this series is an array of natural and industrial landscapes exhibiting women as still, silent and integral parts of a society's infrastructure, or contrastingly as free flowing movement in controlled descents. This beautiful digital art is inspired by Cat Gray's life and resentments. An honest representation of the hardships felt by the modern day woman.
